BEST SEASONS:
|
Trips to the Northern Areas are best planned for the summer (May to October), but
for high altitude treks and mountain pass crossings, June to September is the best
time. The best time to visit the southern part of the country and enjoy blossoms and
picturesque plains and hunting is in the winter and spring, from November through March.

|
TRIP GRADING:
|
We have graded our treks and other trips according to their level of difficulty.
However, these grades are based on averages, and some trips may prove to be more
easy or more strenuous for certain individuals. Please bear in mind that no two
persons are the same. Our indicated levels are based on the following criteria:
Tours and day hikes of 5-6 hours duration, travelling by jeep, coach, pony,
camel and air safari.
Moderate treks of 6-7 hours duration, with gradual altitude gains up to 4000M.
Strenuous treks with sharp altitude gains.
Sharp altitude gains up to 5500m. However, day excursions or summit climbs
may reach up to 6000m. Basic mountaineering skills are required for certain
adventures.
