We travel by large wooden boat from Layyah and float leisurely down the river. Camping on island under the open sky among the surrounding lush green fields enhances the flavour of our trip and also enables us to share a bit of the nomadic lifestyle and experience some rural sttlements of the Punjab. This trip offers the maximum exposure to the Indus Valley culture. Arround the campfire, tales of heroic deeds are heard by the boatmen. Camel rides to the bank of the river add uniqueness to the trip. The best season for this trip is during the months of November through March.
